This wine was a little fussy, difficult to please the food pairing. The wine’s flavors is dominated by sour cherry, cranberry, the alcohol content is lower than average. It was the last glass poured from the bottle when I found the perfect match, Peppers Padrón, I was pleased with the harmony in my palate, the sweetness, little bitterness of the peppers matched harmoniously with the young berries of the wine.
If you prefer red wines that are more acidic, cranberries, sour cherries and less the fruitiness of the red berries, then this is the perfect wine for you. Anyhow, a good wine for hot weather.
The temperature is high again, 32C, I am hiding in the shade.
